Boy, taking pictures of three kids 6 and under is a WORK.OUT...especially for my mother the most awesome assistant in the world! (Thank you mom!) These kiddos were very active and wanted to explore. Pictures, well, they had no time for pictures! LOL They were too busy checking everything out...

No, but seriously, they are such a sweet, sweet family and we had a great time chasing around the kids and playing the other evening ;)

Next, a few family shots for you...we had a time corraling the kids for just a split second to get these, but I'm glad we managed to! They turned out really cute :)

Last but not least, here is a capture from the very end of the session. Everyone was so hot and the kids were dying to at least put their feet in the water. They were so excited to finally get to!

I might mention right before we left, both the boys ended up totally IN the water! HA! It was so funny! Thank you S family for asking me to take your pictures...we had a blast with you guys...hope you all enjoyed your sneak peek!

I Family {Maternity}

Baby #5 is on the way for this energetic and easy-going family! They stay so busy already, they may not even notice any difference when the new baby gets here! HA!

 

The sweet baby is due in mid-July. Mom had soooo many cute ideas for the session, was so organized, and brought along all her own props! Talk about making my job easy..... I'll take pictures for you any time, LOL!

If the doctor is right, the baby is supposed to be a girl. They are thinking of the name Piper (for now.) How cute is that??!

Dad is a coach and mom wanted some pics of the family taken in football jersey's. What an awesome idea! So unique and I LOVE how they turned out :)

Kenslea {three}

We had such a good time taking pictures of Kenslea this past weekend. It was really hot outside and there was absolutely no breeze, but she was a trooper and we had a lot of fun ;) I love the spelling of her name, don't you?



It is always so hard to decide which pictures to share for the client's sneak peek. I try and tell myself to stick to 5 or 6 images, but it always ends up being more than that! I just can't decide :)

We did manage to get a couple shots with Kenslea and her beautiful mom, Kate. You can sure tell these two are related!

I have been dying to try a new set-up...once again inspired by good 'ole Pinterest. I love that site for getting adorable ideas for sessions! This canopy I made for around twenty bucks and it totally sets the scene for the following image. I adore it!

Rachel {Senior}

What do you get when you have gorgeous big blue eyes, naturally curly hair, and perfect complexion?

Meet Rachel.

Is she not gorgeous? Rachel just graduated a couple weeks ago from high school. She plans to pursue a degree as an Ultrasound Technician. Such a sweet girl...I know she has to make her mom proud!

It was such a gorgeous night for our session. A little breezy, but the temperature was perfect.

There's something about this next one I just love...the look on her face...the smirk.... I LOVE it!

After taking some photos at a beautiful, grassy outdoor location, we headed into town for some urban shots. There were soooo many good images to choose from, I simply could've posted them all ;)

All the stunning people I have photographed make my job so fun! I LOVE what I do. I hope you can all tell by my work. Absolutely LOVE it....

Leslie {One}

My blog has been so neglected here lately! I am so sorry...May was a crazy month with the end of school! It seemed like every day was crammed with something going on. I am so glad that summer break is here and hopefully the hustle and bustle that seems to go along with the school year will taper off for the next couple months.

Now on to the post...

Leslie's mother and I have been friends since, well, forever. Mandy was my maid of honor in my wedding. Time and space have taken its toll on our frequency of visits, but when we talk or see each other, it's only a few minutes before we catch back up and seem as if it were just yesterday we last spoke. She is now married with two beautiful kiddos. Her son, Noah, is about to turn 4 this month. Her daughter, Leslie, is turning the big "ONE" in a few short weeks and wanted some pics for her first birthday.

Mandy's father passed away a couple years back and Leslie, Les for short, was his name. Mandy said she couldn't think of a better name for her precious daughter.

 Little Leslie. Oh my lands. She is such a little doll and has the biggest, brightest blue eyes!

When we first got to the location to take her pics, she wouldn't let go of her momma. She was just not having any of it. Come to find out, the sweet girl had an ear infection! But, after taking some time to warm up to us, she finally let go of momma and let us get some great shots.

I love this next one. So simple...she's just hanging out, exploring the beautiful world around her. I love how her little feet are crossed!
