B & R Families

Last week, I had the opportunity to take pictures for a sweet (and come to find out SILLY) person I went to high school with. J lives out of state but came in for a week while her kids were on spring break to see her family. A few weeks prior to her visit, she emailed me about scheduling a session. She really wanted pictures of her 3 children with their cousin that lives here in OK along with the kids individually. She also wanted some shots of the children with their sweet Nanny & Poppy. I didn't mention it that night, but we have a "Poppy" too!

J really wanted the pictures to be taken at her parent's farm...the place she grew up having the priveledge to call home. My oh my, is it beautiful there!

These next images are a few images of the kids by themselves. Such sweethearts!

The morning of the session was very dark, dreary, and rainy! I was really concerned we might end up having to cancel the session...but as the day went on, the rain ended and the overcast skies provided perfect lighting for the session :)

We took a ride in the back of a pickup truck across the road where a peaceful and beautiful creek is. The creek runs behind J's grandpa's house. This next image was taken there...down on the creek with the kids just playing and throwing rocks in the water :) I love how you can see the splash of water!

I will leave you with this one...found this awesome, rusty, banged up truck at the very end of the session. I L-O-V-E finding stuff like this to photograph around. Such character...

Hannah - 8 Days New

A little more than a month ago, I was asked to take some maternity pictures for a very sweet family. You might remember them from a recent post...

They are no longer a family of 3 anymore. Welcome to the world sweet baby Hannah...

This next image is one of my favorite set-ups that I have done yet. I love how it turned out!

Robert, Christy, & Kai

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful, sweet family of 3! I have known Christy since we were kids and it was such an honor being able to photograph her gorgeous family. Little Kai is 6 months old and was such a trooper at his photo shoot! He is such a handsome little guy and I'm sure is going to drive the girls crazy one day!

We took the pics at a local place near where I live. There are so many large, gorgeous trees there...it's park-like, really. I love going there!

I absolutely love this next one...it just captures this beautiful family in such a sweet way...

Christy had mentioned wanting a photo taken of daddy & Kai's feet together and the little stinker was not having it! Poor thing! But, we did manage to get one finally! LOL I think it turned out rather cute ;)

The love this daddy has for his son is quite evident. He seems like such a good father...and little Kai is just crazy about him.

April Special

Presley - 2

Wow! I forgot just how busy a 2 year old can be!

This little stinker kept mom & I hopping all afternoon...LOL. (Mostly my mom.) She is the best assistant in the world! I most definitely could not capture some of the images I do without her help...thank you MOM!

OK. Back to the session...meet Miss Presley.

She just turned 2 a few weeks ago. She is such a precious little gal.

She was not nearly as interested in the tea party theme as she was the rocks! She is going to be (if not already) a little tomboy...I think her momma is right on that!

This next one my mom had everything to do with helping create...I'm not sure what she was doing, but Presley was cracking up at her!

Happy 2nd Birthday PD! You are a beautiful little lady and I enjoyed every second of your session :)
