Crew {newborn} : Pryor, Claremore Tulsa Newborn Infant Baby Photographer

Well, what can I say...if you have the name Crew you rock.

I mean seriously, can a kid have any cooler name than that??

Is he gorgeous or what? And talk about perfect skin! His skin was so beautiful and cut my processing time in half!

"YAWN...Is this lady about finished with me?"

Crew's parents met at college. They both attended Kansas State University. Check out dad's belt buckle. Go Sooners...I mean Wildcats!

Look at him grasping his daddy's thumb...they're already best buds. ;)

So, Crew had four little accidents while he was here...(okay, maybe that WAS just on ONE blanket. LOL) I really lost count. Poor fella. With all of the jostling around, who can blame the little guy? He sure didn't mind. I think he kind of thought it was funny.

When mom walked in carring a chevron diaper bag, I knew she'd love this next backdrop. Gotta' love chevron.

Last one for this sneak peek...This next image just happens to be one of my all-time favorites from a newborn session. Can you say L.O.V.E.??!?

Thank you "B" family for spending your afternoon with us! It was so much fun and a pleasure...

Flora {6 months}

More eye candy from a sweet little girl named Flora!

Mom wanted some indoor studio shots of little miss Flora on top of the outdoor session last weekend. So, they came over and we had a ball!

Don't you just love her little bracelet? She is so precious. She sat right up there and just grinned and grinned from the very start! She was so easy to work with and such a joy...

Kenda & Jalyn

Sisters. Such a special bond.

Meet Kenda and Jalyn. I have enjoyed watching them grow up since they were babies.

Kenda is going into the 4th grade already! Wow how time flies. I had the pleasure of being Kenda's teacher earlier this year in bible class. She is so very smart and a real sweetheart. I adore this next photo of her!

Little miss Jalyn is starting kindergarten this year. She reminds me so much of my Ava. Sort of bashful at first, takes a little time warming up to you, but then lets her true personality show. She wasn't too thrilled about getting pictures taken at first. I know her momma was really worried! But, after a bit she totally warmed up and gave some of the cutest grins and expressions!

Some of you may recognize the tree in this next image. I love that tree....

I love capturing kids when they aren't expecting it. They aren't looking at the camera and they're just doing their thing. So sweet.

This last one is one of my favorites of the night.

Thank you for asking me to take pictures of your beautiful girls! They are such sweeties.

Daniel, Cassidy, & Flora : Pryor Tulsa Claremore Family Child Photographer

There are those sessions which are a little more challenging than others for one reason or another. Kiddos that are cranky or bashful. 115* temperatures. Wind. Lack of sunlight....I'm always up for any challenge that is thrown my way! But sometimes I realize early on I have my work cut out for me!

Then, there are sessions when I leave there knowing I've got my work cut out for me. When I think to myself, "how in the world am I going to narrow these down?"

This session? Yeah, it was one of those. But choosing which ones to share for their sneak peek?? I could've literally posted all. of. them.

Little Flora is turning 6 mos. old very soon. She is soooo precious! She gave us some of the cutest little looks and grins. She is a little doll.

Don't you just love her little dress? And those beautiful eyes? She has her daddy's blue eyes.

Her new thing is sitting up. We tried to get a few shots of her on her belly or her back but she was not interested in doing that. She's a big girl.

Isn't her momma beautiful? Flora loved it when Cassidy would start singing to her. She'd just look and smile at her. She knows her momma's voice for sure.

This next one I LOVE. I love it for a couple of reasons. One is obviously gorgeous little Flora. The other is the bokeh in the background of this image. Those of you that aren't photographers are going, bo-what? Bokeh is blurriness, or an area of an image that is out of focus. See how the trees in the background are blurry and look like little lights shining?

I love bokeh.

Ok, enough photography 101 for today. LOL

"I'm ready for my nap!"

It is really hard for me to choose a favorite from this session, but this next one is way up on the list...if not at the top.

We had such a great time with your sweet family! Hope you loved your sneak peek guys. It was truly a pleasure.

Blain, Robyn, & Gavin

Mom and I met up with this sweet little family over the weekend. We just THOUGHT we had planned an early enough session to beat the 100* temperatures! We should've started closer to 6 a.m. than 9 a.m.! LOL

Aren't they just so stinkin' gorgeous?! Little Gavin was having nothing to do with me or my camera when we first got started...but, as time went on, we started playing peek-a-boo and hide and seek with him and that brought out some cute smirks, grins, and giggles.

Gavin is having his third birthday soon and is quite a handsome fella! He warmed up to us towards the end and wasn't ready to leave when it was time...little stinker! He loved playing with the rocks and water.

I adore this next shot. This is one I didn't plan on editing this way when taking it, but as I was working on their images, it just came to me. I think it is such an awesome image and shows such a beautiful bond between this little guy and his parents.

During this session, I felt as if I had known this family for a long time! They are just so sweet and soft-spoken...and totally the type of people my family and I could hang out with any given day.

I can totally see this next shot hanging ginormous over their sofa in the living room, can't you? (Robyn, you are just stunning. You and coral...it just works, girl! LOL)

At the end of the session, Gavin wanted to get his dirt bike out of the back of dad's truck and take some pictures on it. He was soooo excited about it! He had to show us where the exhaust was. And the gas. And the tires. And his helmet....and every other part of it. It was so cute! I have way too many shots of him that turned out so cute on and around his dirt bike, but I will share one of my faves to end this post.

Blain, Robyn, and Gavin: it was truly a pleasure! Can't wait for you to see your gallery...

Piper {6 days new}

Welcome to the world sweet Piper Quinn.

You may remember her family from a recent maternity session. Now, she finally arrived and they are a family of 7! Seven sweet people inside and out.

Little Piper (love the name!) was so active and alert during her session! I bet she slept like a rock for her momma that night...

We managed to still get some precious sleepy shots of her...

This next shot is just for her daddy...

We barely got that last shot, but I am soooo glad we did!

This next shot is special to me because my granny helped me make this canopy. (Well, she did 90% of it!) I just showed her what I wanted and she went to work. We had so much fun making it.

As I finish this post, I am almost in tears...I love my job! I love that I get to capture the most precious, innocent, tiny beings on earth. I love that I get to capture family memories and birthdays. I am so grateful and thankful to have followed my heart and pursued my dream of photography.

Special thanks to my sweet, supportive husband and my dear mother who has yet to miss one session to help me out...even without being asked! She just expects to go or be there. Whether it be just to carry bags or props...but much of the time helping with lighting and getting little ones to laugh or just look my direction. Thank you!!!

Until next posting. Sleep tight sweet girl...

Case {5 days new}

Case Allen...so sleepy and precious...

He was 8 lbs 15 oz. at birth and still just seemed like such a tiny thing!

His mom said the same lady that made the quilt in the previous photo had also made some quilts for other members of Case's family in the past, including his grandpa. How sweet! What a treasure...

Case rocked his photo session. Period. Dad and mom said he was up most of the night before his session. That's probably why he slept and never hardly made a peep for me! He knew he was getting  pictures taken...

Sometimes people ask if they should wait to get pictures taken when their baby's belly button heals following birth. The answer is a resounding NO! That is what newborn pictures are all about...remembering their newness...their wrinkles...their red tinted skin and imperfect nails.

I think Case looks an awful lot like his daddy...but after editing these photos, I can definitely see how he favors his mom too. He is just darling.

I saved a couple of my favorites for last. Dad and mom are really into the country/western theme and brought along some fun props to use! I love it when people bring things that mean something to them. It makes the session so much more personal.

I absolutely cannot wait for you all to see the rest!

Thank you so very much for sharing little Case with us. It was truly a pleasure and he is just perfect.
